Ashley Tate, MA, LAC

Ashley Tate is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who has worked with a wide variety of populations. She studied Psychology with a minor in Sociology at the University of Central Arkansas, and has obtained Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. 

She utilizes a an integrative approach encompassing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. She is also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy used to treat Trauma. Ashley has experience in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, anger, relational issues, and more. She also has experience working with all ages  including children, teens, young adults, and older adults. She works with clients in both an individual setting and in group settings depending on the client's current needs. 

Ashley's approach creates a safe environment for clients to express themselves, experience growth, and work through challenges. She emphasizes empathy and active listening, while empowering each client to accomplish their goals. Ashley is passionate about helping clients reach their full potential by promoting hope, resilience, honesty, respect, healing, and growth. She is dedicated to helping clients develop the skills needed to maintain growth and healing in all areas of life.
